like most mini's the shock is too soft so today i put a new adjustable shock on the dream. i kept the seat height the same so little kids can still ride it 20201022_162620.jpg 20201022_163147.jpg 20201022_163254.jpg 20201022_163506.jpg 20201022_162620.jpg 20201022_163147.jpg 20201022_163254.jpg 20201022_163506.jpg 20201022_164030.jpg

Man...I've been working on "the dream" most of my life. I hope to start livin it, pretty soon...won't be long now ;)

So did the new shock give you the result you were hoping for? Little stouter...not too soft...not too stiff...rides like a Dream..?

That new shock looks beefier than the stock one. I’m curious about the difference too? Going by your signature, is this bike only a 70cc? I look at the large rims and tires and feel it should be a larger displacement. I have a couple of 90cc Chinese trail bikes that have much smaller rims and tires.

yes the new shock transformed the dream into a bike more suited for someone of my weight and is no longer bottoming out or pogoing on small bumps and pot holes. its much better than the stock shock off road

yes the new shock is much beefier than the stock shock, i've got it on the 4th position so its pretty firm for me but it seems to work well off road so i'm not going to play with the settings. yes the dream is a 70cc, there was a option on wheels when i bought it ( back around 2001 or 2003 ) and i chose the larger wheels. as for the new $30 shock i'm happy with it so far but only time will tell how the shock holds up
