i lost my internet connection at the house for almost a month. a few days after my neighbors tree split and fell what was left standing decided to fall. it fell in the yard it stood in taking out the garage, the power lines, and the internet lines, plus it snapped two power poles. we had power restored the next day so we weren't in the dark long but AT&T dropped the ball. they came out the same day as the power company but never returned to reconnect the phone and internet lines, they just came out last friday to fix the problem. the tree limbs that were in my yard are long gone but there is still a few debris piles to clean up. i've been in ohio on the big bikes the last two weekends so today i took the dream out for a short ride. after riding through a construction zone i can say it needs a heavy duty shock

Glad to see you up and back.

As far as AT&T goes, they have been reducing their repair staff, throwing everything at mobile. They have no use for land lines as evidenced by my land line being out for a month before the problem was fixed. The repairman nodded his approval of my opinion when I voiced it to him.
