Brake pad suggestions

Hello, I’m looking for brake bad suggestions for my K3. Should I clean up the originals and maybe buy new springs? If not, where do you buy pads with the long springs? DrATV and CHP do not have the long spring versions. I’ve found a couple on eBay for around $20 each. Is that a good price? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

I don't recall ever having a problem using the (far) more common short-spring flavor.

The longer springs are a little more forgiving during assembly, might have a little better return action and that's about all the differences.

I've not had good results from 45+ year old, used, brake shoes...
