I'll need to purchase a repro VIN tag for my CT70 K4. Would anyone be able to tell me what month it was built?
Frame number is CT70-2404954

Second, possibly third, month of K4 production. CT70-2405700 (last 4 digits) was manufactured in 10/74, that's only 746 after yours.

Awesome, thanks. Now I just have to find a good one. I found the guy from Switzerland on eBay that everyone says makes the closest reproduction, but what he has online are the earlier ones. I sent him an email though, because from a couple pics I've found, mine uses the 'late-model' style (?) that has GVWR on it as well. I found one of those from another seller on eBay, but I'm not sure of the quality and accuracy.

What I think I need

Not that accuracy is the most important thing here. After all, I painted it Home Depot orange. :) But I would like it to pass an inspection if I decide to title and register it.

Keep 'em coming though please. I'd like to narrow it down as much as I can.

I used the guy from Switzerland and WAS VERY IMPRESSED with the quality, price, and shipping speed. I put a post on the forums here about it if you wanna search it. He was very professional and prompt. I sent him a pic of my old tag and the next day he sent me a pic of my new tag sitting on a stamped envelope with my address. That was before I even paid! I would highly recommend him. My new vin plate was very nice and heavy duty. I paid the extra to my number stamped instead of printed and let me tell you it was worth the extra money.

Agreed, I've sourced from him too. The differences between OEM and what he provides...his reproduction tags are nicer. And the differences are minor. No vehicle inspector is going to question them.
