ct70 headlight wire question

    on this photo what wire goes to what part of the bulb??
    blue , white, green - what is ground , hi and low???

    That's a mess...You need a new headlight pigtail, and some bullet connectors for the harness part of the hookup.
    Maybe Kirby has one??

    its not a mess.. the bullets are on the other end of those wires... i just snipped those off the old headlight bulb that has the sealed beam.. i dont want to re buy a sealed beam so i will solder those wires on to the bulb.. bulb is placed in old glass - i just need to know which wire is hi low and ground... i assume white is ground and green blue are hi low... which would that be if i right....? green hi or low.. blue hi or low???
    any idea??

    White is low beam, blue is high beam and green should be ground.

    Cooooolio.. thats what i needed to know... now one more thing... i just tried soldering wires to the back of a the light bulb but the solder wont stick to the two dots on the back of the bulb ... why not??? i now need to re jig the bulb socket and put that on the back of the light as well.. what a pain... whats the deal with the solder????

    Any reason why you cant solder to the two contacts on the back of the bulb???

    Maybe those 2 spots aren't metal..? Did you scrape them clean b4 you tried to solder? Try scraping with a sharp blade, down to shiny clean metal...as if it has a lacquer type coating. IDK, I'm thinking it's carbon?? Or something...other

    ya.. that wont work .. my headlight is on a n 85ct 70 has the sealed beam... it the discontinued one.. its a weird light not like the older ct's
