Hey guys one of my good friends found a ct70H k0 candy green paint ,only 419 miles, frame and motor numbers are only 2 off . the build date 4/70 . (1st month of production for H models) Few small problems are someone tried to buff the paint on the main tube and buffed off about a 6 to 8 inch area of the green down to the silver base not a wide area but to me a price killer,,,..also one headlight ear is slightly bent and someone traded out some of the bolts with Allen heads.( headlight bolts, rims to wheel hubs, chain guard) looks like only the throttle cable and headlight switch has been replaced..over all the rest of the bike is super clean…runs perfect and has title..anyone have a ball park of what this bike is worth? Are 1st month bike with close numbers worth any more than the others? He can buy it for $4000..I was thinking $3000 to $4000 but that’s just a guess on my part..what do some of you think? Sorry no pics but bike is clean and I think without the paint defect $6000 or $7000 With the super low mileage and clear title..???

its only worth what the highest payer will give for it. it probably worth it, but 4k is too much for me even without seeing the photos. most buyers could care less about production build date or how close the number are. title, meh, nice you dont have to hassle with applying for one via state dot or vermont process. not a big breaker for me

Ok..so I guess 1st month prouduction and close #’s are meaningless to most. I agree just wanted to check..I forwarded the pics from my cell phone to email but they haven’t come through yet? Either way my friend kicked out the $4000 . He’s been wanting a green H for a long time and I guess couldn’t pass it up With only 414 miles…I got over $4000 for a couple non H k0’s that I restored from parts so i feel it’s not a bad price and he wouldn’t find a better one being he’s not a restorer or meachinc…who ever buffed the paint off this gem should be shot an hung!!! lol….I’ll still get pics on here ASAP.

Yes the buffed off frame portion is an issue but sure like the low mile , color, serial , title - I really like it when down inside under the battery and wheel kick area is super nice and clean .
Hope he enjoys the bike and improving the original brand - like fasteners and such . He might even be able to apply some midcoat and see if it could be improved .
I had a 200 mile bike Candy Yellow Special and really enjoyed doing a 50 year Service on it - it was Super nice - so I bet he is excited as well and that Green really pops - a spectacular color .
