CT70H K1 Lights Not Working And Blowing Fuses

I checked the diagram. I believe I have the ground strap correctly attached, but I'm still having the same issue. See the attached pictures.

with a DMM check for power at the taillight socket, start with black lead on battery negative, key position 2 probe the socket nubs with the positive lead will test for positive voltage to for taillight then other nub while applying the brake/s for brake light. if this passes then move the negative lead of DMM to the ground strap bolt and retest.

As I've already said in my reply above, the green wire only grounds the taillight housing to the frame. Pull your bulb and look closely inside the socket any you should see the tiny strap that grounds the housing to the socket.

I was able to get the running light and the brake to work by fiddling with the light a bit and adjusting. My bike has the same issue yours did with the socket not making contact. How did you run the jumper directly to bulb socket? Was that something that soldered on?

I attached the ground strap to the bulb socket this evening. I was about to give it a try when I dropped the bulb and it broke on the ground. A quick trip to Autozone for some 1154 bulbs and I was good to go. The running and brake light both work@ Although the added brake light seems to be the smaller of the two filaments. I figure this might be something to do with the cheap bulb from autozone. So I'll have to get a proper bulb soon.
Thanks for all the help.
