Haven't posted in a long time. I sold my 2004 Redcat last summer and I told myself I would build another one soon after. I miss riding it. This one will be starting with a true 1970 Honda frame which I had powder coated a dark candy red. It has some real nice sparkle in the sun. :16:

Just going to update this thread as I start putting it together :)

Part List- Will add more when I get parts.
YX 140cc Motor
Trail Buddy forks with disc brakes
TB shocks
Aluminum Wheels
Exhaust with carbon fiber muffler
TB aluminum swing arm
Black powder coated hubs
All new Honda parts (Seat, Handle Bars, etc.)
Michelin Raggae Tires
CNC Handle Bar Mount
35T Rear Sprocket
Billet Knob Set
Oil cooler

Few pics of what I have so far.

I bought a full size bike too. 2007 Buell Lightning XB9SX. Love it!

Thanks btcook!

Went to the powder coater today and picked up some of the smaller parts. They all turned out great.

Found this original seat off one of our H models. Still needs some more cleaning, but I think I will use it. :)

Got some stuff done on the bike today. Got the tires and rims together. I really like the black hubs with the aluminum rims.

I am thinking about taking the front bronze part of the forks and getting them powder coated black also. I need to powder coat the front hub still.

Going to get it on a stand tomorrow. Its too tough work on on the table.

BTC there is a local place in gr not to far from my house (Coatings Plus: Powder Coatings, Michigan) that does candy colors for a good price, I got everything hubs, body swing arm, headlight ears, triple tree in candy metallic with holographic flake for 125$ and they sand blasted the frame. My brother in-law did a standard metallic candy and sand blasted everything himself, cost only 75$ to coat metallic green. If you just want stuff done in "harley black" the really shiny black I can prob get you that done for free.

Got some work done on the project today. Thanks again to my dad for all his help and guidance.

Got the front forks on and all bolted up, I really like the black better than the gold on this bike, doesn't clash. (Yup my front tire is backwards, will fix tomorrow lol)

Going to order this from Trailbuddy for my handle bar mounts instead of modifying the Honda style mounts.
CNC Handlebar Clamp

The 140 motor is in and bolted right up, just had to clear off some of the powder coating on the inside bolt area so it would slide in. Mounted the shocks up too. Haven't decided if I want to stick with these red or get black ones...

Ready to start the wiring and hooking up the controls once I get the new handle bar mounts from TB.

My dads CT with 140cc and my new bike :D

I see an aluminum headed small block in the garage on a stand, is it for the 66 Caprice in the drive?

Too many projects, I know how that goes.

Ha yup that is a 66 Caprice. The motor you see is a 406 that was in that car for a while, til it blew a head gasket, going to fix it this winter and start driving it in spring hopefully lol. Always so many projects :)

Here are so more updates. Got a lot done in the last few weekends, ran into some wiring and ground issues, but we were able to figure those out. Went ahead and used an original Honda wiring and Honda key, just makes it so much easier.

Here is what the bike looks like as of yesterday. Got really close, just have to get the headlight on and wired, few other small things and start riding it! :)
