Hope I got it for a good price what do you think?
Looks like an original paint bike with some aftermarket decals on it.
Now to get a shipper for it !

Do you still have those bunches of parts? If so, that bike should go together in no time. From what I can see of the Z50, it should clean up pretty nicely with a little silver paint and some elbow grease. Lotsa fun:specool:

It says it's billet aluminum. I wonder if they chromed it or just buffed it thoroughly. I'd like to see one up close as I recall spending more than $25 to have originals rechromed...

If you can find someone willing to rechrome the diecast originals for anywhere near $30 each, and do it right, you've found yourself a screaming deal. Diecast (a.k.a. pot metal) requires a base strike of cyanide copper and that ain't cheap, circa 2017.

Billet aluminum replacements should be good and a lot easier to maintain than OEM. Stainless steel would be even better...true chrome-like shine and impervious to nearly everything.

That pump sprocket might make you shy away from buying the head :) How long does it take to smooth out a sprocket like that?

The cases do look nice, and a low number. But I think I can see a chunk broke out of the L case stator plate area..?

Yeah I want to say salt lake chrome did them for $25 each. I recall a k1 upper tree being the same price, and I found that baffling, but now I know why.... he mentioned he would need a lot of copper to fill the pits in the piece but they came out nice... and go figure, I got 4 done, installed two, then lost one.... what a kick in the #Â¥!?....
