I have a '79 ignition switch, and was hoping to install it in my K2. I was looking on dratv's site and noticed the years don't overlap, but would it still work? I didn't look close but the matchup's on the wiring diagrams looked similar will the the ignition switch....

    Anybody know? Thanks!

Won't plug and play. I had issue with my 1977 and learned 77,78 and 79 are one in the same. If it is truly a 79 switch it is probably desireable. Buy the correct year from CHP or DRATV, that way its simple plug and play. Rich

I took it of of my mostly complete '79 CT70. Not really interested in working on that one right now. Maybe I'll part that bike out, or sell it complete to finish my K2. Thanks DeRider.
