Engine Swap ???

Ok everyone, what's your thoughts on an exhaust for our CT70 build now that all our parts are here for the big bore upgrade.
Will a stock muffler work fine or does it need to breath more ?
We can get our hands on a NOS muffler now..

Adam, I had a good friend that had a 66 with a 289 in it as well, it was pretty damn fast back in the day....

Hey Capt, I'm not an expert on these single cylinder engines but on my Lifan 110 build, I use a stock K0 muffler and it preforms fine, speed in the 60's.

Maybe some of the members will chime in on this. I do know that the China made aftermarket mufflers look nice and are inexpensive but don't preform and should be avoided.

Yes the stock is said to work well on a 88cc bike, you just need to run it without the baffle. It will be a bit louder but still pretty quiet.

I think your wife is gonna love that bike with the 88cc kit. Not too fast, not too loud, still pretty easy to kick, but with a little more zip. And be-a-utiful to boot.
