Thanks KirbsCT70 petcocks are PART OF CT70 carburetors. They might have once been available as parts...service parts, but I don't think that is what you're after.
Most of us with aftermarket carbs and engines and such use remote, dual inlet, petcocks.

I went to rebuild the carb on my '82 CT70, but the petcock leaked like a sieve, and since it was held on by cast in rivets, it became hopeless. Thanks Kirbs
Hmmm...that's interesting, the microfiche for the '82 CT 70 carb shows two 3Mx12 pan screws hold it in place. Possibly your carb is aftermarket(?)I went to rebuild the carb on my '82 CT70, but the petcock leaked like a sieve, and since it was held on by cast in rivets, it became hopeless.
