My latest project has been a new adventure, inner crank seals were cracked, so I sent the crank off for a rebuild, first time to totally rebuild a triple, it went better than expected.

Pretty cool Hambone. It's cool to see the similarities to our little Honda's. Is there a shift drum under there somewhere too...or it goes on top?

Cracked inner crank seals...is it a common failure on that engine?

Thanks Kirb, shift drum is on top, 5 up, I went through the tranny, no shimming was necessary, wanted to get the gears cut but these projects eat up money quick. I will post a pic when I'm finished, still need to paint my tins.

Two stroke !!! I like it and it looks great !!! Find some DG or bassini chambers for it and it will sound bad ass!!!!

Finally have my tins back from paint, turned out nice, time for the decals, last decal I put on was on a rounded tank, almost gave up on them, these should be easier. It's not a candy paint, but I think it will look sweet.

I'm getting better with my decals, still a tedious process with all the measuring and taping.

Thanks, Old CT, prices have gone crazy on these triples, this one sold in August for $25K, that put a smile on my face.
