During HD's AMF years, they dabbled in the recreational, small bike market. THere was at least 1 dirt model (125cc?) as well. When I was younger in St. Thomas, ON., there was kid who owned the HD dirt bike.....I beleive it is the ony HD rec bike I've ever seen that was owned. I saw the HD mini bike you have pictured in a shop in the same city for sale, looooong time ago......a quick google of the HD AMF history/products will probably reveal the entire lineup...the AMF years were a dark time for HD, that they almost didn't survive....

Thanks for posting that. That is one rare bike in that condition. Harley was really struggling against the Japanese imports at the time. So they entered into to that segment of the market. I heard that some of the bike were made in Europe for Harley but I am not certain that is a fact. It did lead Harley into the recreation markets outside of motorcycles too.
