A guy brings a nice CT70KO into my shop to have restored. Serial 277193. 7/71.
Everything's there and in nice shape. No rust to speak of. No dents.
It all looks good EXCEPT...someone painted it orange and a crappy job at that.

I've done a lot of mechanical work on Minitrails over the years but I'm not a paint guy.
Paint work will be sent out to someone who can do it right.
I can rattle can the silver cloud and black parts.
Hopefully, with your help, I can put this bike back to original.

I'll post a thread in the resto forum so you can follow my progress.
    Thanks all.

Were it not for the K0 front end, this could pass for a `77. Nice raw material for a resto project.(y)

Definitely a 50 foot paint job. But like racerx said it'd could pass as a 77 model. That bike has a lot of potential, at least who ever painted it didn't go crazy and over spray everything to the point of it looked stolen.

50 ft. paint job is a good description.
Judging from the condition of everything else, the original paint should have been pretty darn good.
That brings me back to the same question I keep asking myself...Why?
