ct's got me into the whole mini side of the sport and the pit bike races.
it also taught me more than i knew on simple mechanics and small moto motors. i got more into it and have aquired another ct mainly for parts at first but was trying rebuild for enduo trails ect. when i found 2 xr100r's complete in need of engine work (not blown thank dickens) for the oh so twinkie to a fat kid price of $20....yes 20 enough to buy a tank of gas enought to buy an el cheapo ct tire. i was estatic..... then i looked at where i live..... and my smile went neeeeeeoooooooowwwwwwwwwwww to the floor. my lease is almost up and im looking into houses rent to own but dont have the space now even if i get it then. storage isnt cheap for a work area at 100-150 a month and makes me cry like when my 3 yo realised ice cream melts if left out in the sun. trying to even just see if i can get a mini storage to store when not working on them. like i said my dad has a 3 car garage i overused my welcome with a few of my toys if i sell some he might be willing to take these in lol....i have lots oh cleaning to do and a small budget. anyone ever had similar probs? my dads on the last stretch of the acceptance to my stuff there and its all being moved out slowly my budget is small enough with parts i have to buy but i need a storage if not work area.:jaw::12::42:

I have a friend who lives in a ranch house with a one car garage...He built a loft area above where you would park a car...It is awesome, there is a ramp on the side to roll/ride a bike up along with an elec winch hooked to the rafters for lifting from the floor. The way he did it, there is a lot of work space and storage. He is about 6'2 and can stand up fine. Maybe look into doing something similar to increase your space. There are sites on the net that show plans.

Don't know how the cost of living in your neck of the woods compares with the rest of the country. In most metro areas, a 10 x 10 mini storage space costs around $60/month. Doubtful that you're going to find commercial storage space for substantially less than that, though some offer discounted rates for 2nd floor locations and/or have even smaller units.

The quickest & cheapest solution is to disassemble the longterm project bikes and pack them into boxes and/or plastic storage bins. Stackable plastic bins cost less than $10ea and are ideal for 72cc Honda engines, no leaks. Aside from the frame, a disassembled CT70 only requires about 7 cubic feet of storage space, including the engine - even less if you discard the tires & unusable parts.

well the 60 a month isnt so bad im looking into a house with a large shed, and for now actually my freind offered his shed to me as long as i help him clean up and fix his bike. thank god for random friends i barely talk to.lol but you do have a point racer x that is a good idea if it comes down to it.
