I dont know he wants me to drive over and talk about it. says he wont take less than he has in it. Well usually thats fine but if shipping and all the bunk is added it may be ridiculous. Just looking for some guidance.

Back around `04 -`05 I used to see top-flight examples of these changing hands in the $5500-6500 range. I've only seen one other ultra-clean `67 sold since then, a virtually flawless restoration Scarlet Red specimen...in December of `12. It brought $7500. Don't take that as anything other than anecdotal evidence. One sale, after a seven year gap, does not qualify as a reliable indicator.

Be careful, they're addictive too. There's the 305 Dream, the Baby Dream, the Benly, the Benly Touring, The Dream Sport

Well this is not restored. I wish it was then I could look at all the receipts and compare it to what I would have spent. Not knowing the market on an original there is no basis for me to even make an offer.

The 305s command a huge premium (percentage-wise) over the 160s. As for restoration costs, a pair of wheel assemblies, NOS exhausts and chrome, alone, can easily set you back north of $3K.
