Honda Mini Trail Z50 1969 - How Much is it Worth?

Inherited a honda mini trail z50 along with many other dusty things from my father who passed away last year and was a motorcycle nut. I almost left this little guy behind but had a double take and changed my mind. Just realizing they can be quite valuable. Any idea how much this thing could be worth? I can take more pics tomorrow. I'm guessing its from 69 or 70? Any help would be appreciated!

That's a good bike for sure...but it's looking pretty rough in that pic. But it seems to have most of the parts present. Some folks might try to get $800 for a bike like that. But I think $500 will get a lot more attention.
800...I would let it pass. 500 I would be out for a look. $350 and I would be looking to bring it home.

I'm talking U.S.

Good to know. One lad offered me 25$ Canadian haha. Another "50$ for 50cc". Many offers for 500$ Can as well.
Wondering if I should clean it off and post a better pic. Guessing I most likely don't have the papers and not sure if it turns over. Seems pretty original though, but I don't know anything about these bikes!

Ya...if i had been looking for a bike like that, I would be tempted for the 800.
Having the HL, and TL parts is a really big plus.

Thank you infinitely for all your help! I have to admit i'm tempted to keep it after all this research :red70:

I asked the same question you are just a few weeks ago https://lilhonda.com/index.php?threads/how-much-is-this-worth.22998/
I got my 69 silver tag Z50 near the low price Kirrbby specified, but mine is in worse shape than yours appears to be. I’ve spent more than what I bought it for on needed replacement parts, but should have a functional rider very soon.
Nice hood prop in your avatar btw:LOL:

That's really the best idea yet. They are very cool little bikes, and only need a few feet of garage space. They're valuable...but may be priceless...
$500 doesn't go NEARLY as far as a hardtail Z50 will :)
