Wow looks really good, some creative finance maneuvers could make it a potability but will give it some thought. Wish he would elaborate on the origin of the engine and mileage, looks like maybe recently a pulled engine.

I'll tell everyone everything I know about the origin. I bought a complete 1994 model bike with this engine in it a few years back from a member on here. I also have a 1993 that I modified with a 117cc motor. Long story short, the wife didn't take to a CT like I thought she would, so I decided to sell one and buy her a Grom (fuel injection and E-start were appreciated by her). Tried to sell the complete bike on here two years ago now, probably, no bites, so I pulled this motor, threw a stocker back in it, and sold the bike as stock. I held onto this thinking someday I might want another project motor, and offered it up privately to a few people on here expressing interest, with no takers. I've decided now that I don't foresee any projects in the future requiring something like this, so it's time to go.

I've never had this engine apart, and from my conversations with others on here when I offered it up, Fatcaat thought it was a motor he had built (maybe he'll chime in with some info). It started and ran great, no oil leaks, shifting issues, smoking, etc. I wasn't able to jet it quite perfectly, but maybe the exhaust I was running played a factor. As for mileage, I would bet my next paycheck that I didn't put more than 200 miles on it the entire time I owned it (again, wife didn't ride it like I thought she would, and I have my other bike). What was on it prior to my owning it is anyone's guess, but at least in regards to the previous owner to me, I would bet he wasn't a huge pavement pounder either...

I wish I had more information for everyone on here, but unfortunately I don't, as far as if it's been gone through or rebuilt. It definitely hasn't been spray bombed to be made to look nice like some I've seen that people have purchased from overseas.

I recall the bike...clean, reasonably well thought-out, definitely solid...not a collection of cheap-n-chineezy parts. The Thai vendor from whom the motor was sourced was turning out a pretty fair used engine by the time this one was imported. If Jared went through it, so much the better...he knows engines.

If there was something worn out lurking within, it would have manifested by now, I'd think. Worst case scenario, service parts are mostly cheaper than CT70 stuff...and all OEM Honda. Doesn"t take much to make one of these motors mechanically new....ready for another 30k+ miles. If smoothness & durability are high priorities this is as good as it gets for a small bike.

Very surprised nobody snapped up this Nice motor yet, especially knowing how rare they are now.

I do recall something like about Thai vendor Nice motors a while ago. That would be a perfect install Nice 110 with the manual trans:).
Having just relocated, expenses on the Visa are kinda a priority... These clowns are charging me interest now that i have a balance on it.

I was wondering if you would be interested in a trade and maybe some cash to make a deal?

I could probably sell this on eBay but If your interested, that would be way easier... I could part with one of my Automatic Swiss watches that's in my collection. I have a limited edition, Mido Chronoghraph. i think its # 446 made in Switzerland. Brand new in box never sized or worn.

Anyway, if you happen to be a watch guy.;)

I do believe this was an engine i imported and passed along. It was part of two engine deal I imported from Asian Concept over 10 years ago. I still have one of the engines which was modified into a 127 4v+r engine. This engine was rebuilt by AC. I had purchased several from them in the past and they were done well. I obviously opened up the one as I built and it was confirmed to be redone well. I did not open up the engine in question and sold it as such. It was actually installed into a lowrider CT70 I owned and I think I clocked about 100 trouble free miles on it. I had it setup with the stock nice carb and I recall it running and shifting perfect. I took the engine out and sold the lowrider to a friend with a xr50 engine with 88 kit and didn't have a use for the Nice and sold it. That's the history I have for you.

I guess I forgot to put "o.b.o." in my initial posting. I'm flexible (within reason), just had to start somewhere. It's maybe worth my asking price, but realize that the demand isn't super high on these, probably...it's not doing anyone any good in a box, and I guess I'd rather see it go to someone on here, true enthusiasts, than anywhere else.

ugh! Here I am doing good things and rarely checking on the internet and motorcycles,
when I could have been selfish and acquired a Nice, Nice motor.
    Congrats on the sale Matt
