If you don’t have any luck buy a set of these..they come in handy not just for carb jets but a lot of other things..I use the smallest bit to clear it then just slide it in an out of the jet using the side of the bit like a file to clean it out but not remove any brass..the hand drill pictured is from blue point (snap-on) but I’m sure the company that sells the bits have them..just know if you drop a small one they are very hard to find so work over a clean well lit area..

I think it IS possible to pull that pilot. But I wouldn't try until you have a new one. You might bugger it up trying to pull it out.

That's a nice set, I have a torch tip drill set but nothing small enough, those really small one might work.

I don't see where you can buy those jets, it would be nice if that's the case.

Went out last night and put the carb back on soak, this morning I checked my carbs, I had one in stock, it had a clear passage, I was able to get a small wire thru that jet, so I knew then it would go thru my original. Started trying to get the wire thru the original, it's a lot of effort to get the wire started in the second small passage coming in from the bottom, but after a little cursing, I broke thru. Wire is out of a shoe handle wire brush, it must be about .010 in diameter. Thanks for the help guys.

I can measure the smallest bit but I’m pretty sure it’s smaller than the smallest touch tip cleaner..? Without my glasses I can hardly even see the smallest bit in the set. Lol. Just let me know if you need me to measure..

Looks like the smallest in your set is a .013, that might go through it, I could mic the wire out of the wire brush, then we would know what size would go through. I worked on a guys crf50 a few years ago, it had the same style jet, we couldn't get it unstopped, we tried wire on it also, he bought a new carb. I think the secret is keeping your wire straight and getting centered up on that second passage, there is a small passage as soon as you enter the jet, then it opens up because your wire will bottom out. Then the tricky part is getting the wire to start in the next tiny hole, tried coming in from the top but my wire wasn't long enough and I didn't have any needle nose skinny enough to get down the slide tube.
