While stripping down a ct70 k-1 I ran across this? How bad did someone want to ride? or was it used for power reduction? Haha

Hahaha, I had one that looked the same on my first CT project. It was on a 1983 Canadian model. I think Old CT suggested I keep it handy for cutting lumber in the future!?

Correction, i checked way back and it was actually “Gary” that suggested I use the old sprocket as a circular saw blade. Just me having an old day. Oops!

While tearing down my k-4 motor I came across this…thought it would fit into this thread!! speedo was right at 4700 miles. Cam chain was looser than I’ve ever seen in my life but the cam was still in time. So does it really matter if your crank timing gear is a half tooth off? Lol. ( this thing had to of sounded like a singer showing machine) The motor had good compression but I never tried to start. I thought top end would be shot with the oil pump just dragging along but not even a scratch on head or cam!!! crazy,,,,, ONLY A HONDA!!
