how do i install 1982 piston rings properly?

Lowest ring: oil ring (easiest to identify). Install first, imprint upwards (towards head)
Top ring: the one with the chamfer. Chamfer towards top. Install last.
The ring left over is the taper-faced middle ring. Imprint upwards.
Before installing the cylinder, turn the rings until the ring gaps alternate by 180 degrees.
