Yep, 1st - 3rd gear all uP on the 91' CT70.
I was thinking of the shift pattern of my old Honda cm200 is 1 down 3 uP with a clutch. It would make a hell of a racket coming in with speed to a stop light trying to get it in first gear. It was happier to hit 2nd then first, i learned that one quick.

Best method for shfting into neutral, when stopping in traffic is to just leave it in gear, use the brakes to slow down until engine rpm is 1500-2000 (7-10mph), then downshift...finally snicking the trans into neutral when the bike is almost stopped. That takes all the strain & shock load off the tranny. It's a helluva lot easier finding neutral this way, too.;)

Thank you Tom, and back at ya.
Wifey is all over it! She's very well informed, and won't let me leave the house...specially since I'm a dirty smoker with dirty smokers lungs. We are well stocked for a shut in. I have plenty of projects to do right here at home. I've been working long weeks and hours for quite a while, but now, I'm laid off!! Crazy times.
Governor called it this morning...she's shutting the state down at midnight tonight (kinda).

We're hangin tough here in Michigan.
