K-0 Candy gold ct70 build from parts

Looks just excellent . Colour looks spot on . Your build quality looks high . Thanks for the views . I have not sprayed out that colour .

The bike looks amazing as usual. You've gotta get better at taking pictures though 😂 step back and zoom in. Get low to the ground. Also we like pictures so...

Is this the last build for a while?
I’ll work on my photography skills and get better pics,,lol,,,,I still have 3 ct70’s and one z50 soft tail to restore but may only do a thread on my exact matching number CSY k-1H ct70,, I’ve pretty much run out of colors to paint them and I’m pretty sure most of you are getting sick of seeing my builds…haha.

Certainly not getting sick of the build threads :)

I got the Chinese carb on and it now runs perfect ( starts on first kick nearly every time) but does smoke a little when idling ,,not sure why with freshly bored cylinder ,Honda piston, Honda rings (.9 end gap) Honda exhaust valve oil seal, tight valve guides, valve job and checked seated valves, .Honda oil? It’s my second restore job that’s a smoker? The candy green H bike smoked and a different cylinder, piston, ring setup stopped the smoke completely? I’ve put about 15 break in miles on this bike and it hasn’t got any better thinking maybe the rings just needed to seat but no dice. I not big time concern being last week I found this bottom end on eBay that was only 6 digits off from the frame so I might just build another motor or break it down and swap the case half and deal with it then..only problem now is when I broke down the 6 digit motor and cleaned up the case i noticed a crack where some jackass ran in too long of a foot peg bolt ..I know a good tig welder so I’m hopefull he can repair it..see pic. The case is in great shape other then that..I’m glad I caught it before I built it..I hate oil leaks!!! Here’s some better pics for power6994 even some under shots that he requested…lol

Haha! We love the pictures!! So lucky to find the crack in the case at this stage. Hopefully it's an easy fix. Pretty incredible to find a case only 6 digits away. Well done!
