Letter from WI taxpayer

Money won. Sarcastic copy & slander, the Republican way, was expected. With the Millions spent to support that ass-bag, of course a few cunty posts would come out of it. Walker is a cash-whore bully, in the most Repugnican fashion. Excluding from the throat-slicing, the likely to support him, showed the measure for what it was. He did it for himself and his party, not the taxpayers.

I can't see the snark-O-grams as any better than the hemp-headed rants. What ever happened to SUPPORTING your candidate? No one can, because they all are the shits WE voted/allowed/encouraged them to be. Slams are easier, when your guy sucks.

A sad day for my state of Wisconsin. People will wonder a few years from now why there are no jobs that pay more than minumum wage! Walker and his fellow Republican pricks will not be happy until every employee is totally at the mercy of big business. They would love to go back to the years where employers could work you like a dog, and reap all the benefits from the sweat of your back. Its already happening in many businesses already. They would love to go back to the days of zero regulations in the workplace. Wages have stayed stagnant with the decrease of unions. Don't tell me about how fair non-union shops are. I have worked in both and I know how business owners like to walk around like God almighty. The reason factory workers in Wisconsin get 20 bucks per hour is because Unions negotiated those wages over the years. Walker and his minions are jumping for joy now because their plan will soon take effect. He will be climbing the government ladder and big business will be reaping the benefits. The rest of us working people will sink further into debt and further into the hands of the business rulers. I still can't believe the people are so stupid not to see through Walker and his Republican agenda.

The up side, if they reduce the workers rights, and de-regulate manufacturing, EPA, etc, we'll have those crappy-paying sweatshop jobs that are now in China.
And the same rich business owners and their shareholders will still be getting richer, to spend hiring the likes of Walker to do their dirty work. Capitalism "wins"?

It was the moment that citizens united vs federal election commision was decided, that ended all voters say in the US

I've posted the link before I'll post it here again

When someone on foreign soil can fund a political party, all is lost

Big business can simply buy a government, either foregin or domestic, and implement their policies through puppet politicians

It is the hand that gives that has more power than the hand that takes

When a governement makes a decision to allow unlimited funding for a political party, even from a foreign source, what stops big business from buying all the political parties?

Every single option you have to vote for is already sponsored by the same organizations

Here is the link: Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The reason you hear more negativity about big business than ever before, is because the playing field is tilted.
Every year that goes by the margin of compensation for the workers and business owners has been racing out of control.
With the cost of Health insurance and stagnant wages, the so-called middle class has virtually disappeared. Companies in their race for higher efficiancy, have greater production with less workers. Workers are doing much more than years before with the same compensation. I am speaking from my own experience at my place of work. I have been there for 24 years now, and I have seen the changes. We are all doing much more work, at a much quicker pace, with less workers. Our last three contract negotiations have gotten us less and less compensation. When you figure in the cost of health insurance, which increases every year, we really have not gotten any raises in 10 years. The company gives us a 2 percent increase in wages and takes it away immediately by increasing our health insurance premiums. I am one of those factory workers in Wisconsin that are considered lucky. We make 20 bucks an hour compared to the vast service jobs out there. In this day and age , without overtime, even 20 bucks an hour is a pittance. Compare this to the CEOs and their compensation ,and you will understand why the average Joe is getting just a tad pissed off! People like you who consider this funny are the ones I consider big business.

Oh yeah I guess in your world the common man should not have anything besides the basics. He should be happy with just scraping by and living from paycheck to paycheck. He should never be allowed to purchase a NEW vehicle and be happy with some 100,000 plus milage vehicle. He should not be able to go out to a restaurant and have a nice meal once in awhile. He should never be allowed to go on a nice vacation unless he saves up for it for 10 years. You make me sick!

I remember reading in the paper the average CEO works 3 hours and makes the annual salary of the average worker

Enough said

It is this system of greed that has taken over

The rich are getting richer, and the middle class is being pushed into poverty

It isn't a laughing matter

Charter communications TV, internet, land line. Verizon cell phone. I'm curious what difference it makes which conglomerate crooks get my $300+.

I was in Madison the weekend before the election. My bother in law wore a "I support Walker" T-shirt. Results were 2 negative responses and 9 positive. Shows even in liberal Madison the true benefits of the Walker administration were recognized. Was amazed at all the Barrett signs even around the governor mansion. Where he cannot live due to the liberal violance. Election was a true victory for responsible government and spending. When public employees have better benefits and pay than public they represent it is not sustainable.

kcjones33, have you seen the "public they represent" lately. Do you even know anyone who earns $15-$20 per hr? $10? Are YOU the public they represent? What are you talking about?

The difference and I'm glad you choose those words, is that Verizon and Charter are union shops.I am a retired 35 year IBEW union telecommunications employee. If you don't like giving 300 + to the conglomerate crooks you can go elsewhere, ie to a non union provider, the point being you have the choice. The people in Wisconsin evidently by their vote want to have a choice too. Time will only tell if they made the right one.

The people of Wisconsin need to realize their Governor is NOT looking out for their best interest when he's bringing down the unions. He IS looking out for himself and his buddies. He is no different than a CEO who HATES having to pay his employees a fair wage. The state should manage their shrinking paycheck just like the public has to and pay their bills before they spend their money. Their is no shortage of greedy bastards in the world trying to get your money. Now you have one, along with his greedy cronies, running your state. Good luck with that. Unfortunately by the time you all realize your mistake, him and his mattress full of cash will be long gone.
