Lifan 110cc wiring

I have bought a Lifan 110cc engine for my Honda C70
I wanted a semi automatic as someone before me had replaced the original engine with a Nice 100cc manual clutch.
My problem is I am very confused how to wire the engine to the harness,
The wires from the Lifan engine do not match the wires on the harness,
The engine wires are as follows
Green
Green/Red
White
Yellow
Black/Red
Black/White
I have attached to pictures showing the engine wires and harness and would appreciate any help please.

I can't quite see what you've got labeled, but there's lots of wiring diagrams on line for reference. I think even Beatrice has them. But anyway, this may help.
green- always goes to ground , neg bat/frame
green/red-I think this is for your neutral light, 80% sure

your regulator has 4 wires. yel, wht, red, green. Yellow and white are the two AC legs going from your stator to the regulator. red goes to your battery (to keep it charged) and greeen which goes to ground.
Black/red- goes to your CDI box
Black/white- is your engine kill switch- wire to your ignition switch

On most all little Hondas, red goes from your battery to your ignition switch. Switched power from your ignition switch is black and powers turn sig. brake lights, tail lights etc.

Your motor should have come with a CDI box, regulator, and coil. Don't forget, you're now 12 volts and need a 12 volt battery, as well as 12 volt bulbs and flasher.

Well we could sort it all out...but it will take me a while...and I might have some trouble with the lighting. But we can start by getting the engine running.

If I ask you a question, please answer, or tell me you don't know, etc. Long distance troubleshooting and such is difficult, and impossible if we don't cooperate.

That harness has a ton of, maybe extra, wires.
Does your engine have electric start?? I don't think it does...but I think the harness has wires for one.
Your harness also has wires for gear indicator lights...that you probably do not need.
@WarnerSteel has videos that can help you to sort this harness out if you look.

So...are you with the bike to start working with it? Or are you just hoping to get some info for when you ARE with the bike??

In the pic of your harness...
Far RIGHT in your pic...those 3 modular plugs go to the front of your bike...probably inside of the HL bucket.
Then, moving down the harness...the next TWO plugs, are for the engine.
The next bundle, you have correctly marked COIL.

The opposite end of your harness...far left in your pic...those are for the brake, tail, and turn signal lights. The plug you have marked "brake light" is not for the brake light, but may be for the brake light SWITCH. The one that attaches to the foot brake pedal.

Moving down again, but from the left now...those wires are for the battery.
The next bunch of mess...I think is where you'll be plugging in a electric starter.
There should be a plug there for a turn signal flasher relay, a regulator, and CDI.

Next we can sort out the engine wires...

Just a couple of notes——

I dismantled a 1981 C70 Passport for parts a couple of years ago that was in rough shape. It was a 1981 and was a 6 Volt wiring set-up. In 1982 they changed to a 12 volt Cdi set-up. The 1981 had a electric starter motor. With a push button switch on the RH handlebar control. It also had a solenoid for the electric starter. I’m pretty sure most were equipped with a electric starter motor. So depending if it’s a pre-1982 it should be 6 Volt electrics. Or 1982 and up it should be 12 Volt.

That said, it was a Canadian bike, this one is in Thailand which could change the playing field???

He says the engine was previously swapped out for a Honda Nice100 engine, which I think 12v CDI...made, 1999...(from his other thread.) But I think since he has a new Lifan engine AND a new wire harness...everything is pretty much changing...Starting from scratch. Maybe just have to change light bulbs, if they weren't changed already, to 12v.

The wiring harness picture:
As Kirrbby said, the three plugs in upper right of pic go inside the headlight and probably has more wires than you need. Which wires you use will depend greatly on the type of switch controls you run on the bike. In the left plug, I do see a black/white wire, which is usually the “kill” wire. Whatever this harness was made for, the key switch must have been in or very close to the headlight.

Heading down the harness, to the left, the next plug connects to the wires from your engine, just match colors. You say you have a black/white from engine…..are you sure it’s not blue/white? Regardless, hook it to the blue/white in harness. I don’t see a green ground wire in this harness plug. The green from the engine will need to go to ground.

The next white plug is for gear selection indicators. Your engine probably only has a neutral indicator wire, which is the green/red wire. Hook it to the green/red in this plug. Ignore the other wires in this harness plug.

You have the next two wire labeled correctly, they go to the 12v coil.

The next wire with eyelet looks to be a chassis ground.

If the next two wires are black and green/yellow, I would say you are correct, these go to the brake switch.

You are correct, the next plug is for a 4 pin regulator.

The plug with black and yellow/red wires look like starter solenoid wires for electric start.

The red “+” covered wire is battery positive and connects to starter solenoid.

Going up and to the right, that looks to be correctly marked as the CDI plug.

I’m perplexed by the next two wire plug. Is it “L” shaped, to plug a signal flasher into? If it’s a flat plug, I’m not sure what it goes to.

The next two wires connect to the + and - of the battery.

The last wires on the far left go to the taillight, but they look confusing. The orange and blue are typical Honda colors for turn signals. The green/yellow in the white plug is the brake light wire. Typically, the running light is solid brown, I can’t tell if any of those are brown. Solid green should be ground. I’m not sure why there is a second blue wire.

Apologies the wire is blue/white not black white
