I miss him a ton too. I think about him all the time when folks post questions and such. Like in the speedo gear thread...I felt like SOMEONE needed to say..."Isn't it nice that we get SO much aftermarket support for our bikes." ...Or something like that. He would have said it MUCH better.

I haven’t succeeded in making Pontiac MI a stop (closest airport to Commerce Township) as I’ve wandered the country. If I ever do I’m gonna go knock on his door and say hello. And make it rain. I can do that, just ask @red69
 
I'm sure that if if someone was inclined and the admins were willing, you could engineer a chatbot pretty easily that uses every response he has here on the forums (if they are all stored) and you'd have a virtual Bob that you could ask questions to. You could do it for any user or you can do it across the entire forum/community. That would make this forum very valuable source of info.
 
Lord, I must be old ! I remember when my mate Stanley came to class all excited and told me about this cool new cartoon "Speed Racer" .

I don't remember any quotes but "Oil is the cheapest Mechanic" has long been a favorite of mine .

I should go without saying that it needs to be clean and routinely changed oil....
