Mets magic number!

And Duda didn't do too bad in that game.

I asked my son (lives in Georgia) if he saw the fans with the "7 Line Army" banner and he told me he met that guy in NYC when he attended the first game with Chicago Saturday. A banner was with the owner at the L.A. series and he gave it to Daniel Murphy. Murphy carried it to Chicago.

Thought you liked football SW... It sure is WAY too early for that prediction.
Do you route for KC all season long and watch all the games? NAH! Met's all season long here and watch every game.. Not a band wagon jumper!

National League ALL THE WAY! Pitchers should HAVE TO HIT! :26:

Football is my sport, but I DO watch baseball from mid-September on till the World Series, LOL. Bandwagon jumper? Yessir, I reckon I am when it comes to baseball... but I like the Royals, I'll watch them play tonight in between caregiving tasks. Will Toronto pull out a win in K.C.??? I don't think so, but we shall see... the Mets have it all sewn up on their end. A Mets-Royals matchup would be good in the World Series, it would be worth watching every game. I've been roped with everything going on here, I even missed some football games I wanted to watch, but my mom's comfort is top priority at this stage, all else is secondary. Still, my hat's off to the Mets for playing well, I actually like the Cubs but I didn't think they could cut the mustard this time around. Gotta go, almost time for the changing and repositioning routine... this electric hospital bed has certainly made life easier, just the right width for rolling a patient, not so wide as to make things difficult.

DAMN, sure sounds like you have no faith in your team. Neither would I with that ''average'' KC starting pitcher staff! I have a million dollars and a key to the monkeybike!!!! Still in?

HaHa, I already have that million-dollar note tacked to my wall... but sadly, my little FrankenBike has no key, otherwise I'd toss it into the pot, LOL. How about a house key for this shotgun shack??? It's a SKELETON KEY, no less, LOL. Hey, Bulletproof Red69, those $3 Clinton bills are just the sort needed to fund ol' Hillary's campaign, I reckon. :13: Meh, back to this Ravens-Cardinals game, the Cards only have a short six minutes plus to clinch this one. Looking forward to the World Series Opener on Tuesday, WOOHOO!!! :red70:

Lucky #13, WOOHOO!!! Guess all those high-flyin' Mets fans are sitting in Kauffman Stadium watching the action, LOL. Hey, did I get that Mets player's name wrong? Darnaud? Jernaud? WhateverTF, I probably have the venue wrong too, as I'm a BANDWAGON JUMPER, LOL, but I CAN say in all sincerity that this is one heckuva World Series Opener... best I ever recall seeing, though y'all know I'm really a football fan, 10-4???

Holy Cow, what a game!!! Bottom of the 14th with the bases loaded, and KC cracks one to FINALLY win, LOL. Damn, 5 hours and 9 minutes, that's one heck of an opener, yeah??? Poor Bartolo Colon is now officially the OLDEST pitcher to lose a World Series Opener in this fashion... what a crazy game it was, too. Damn, that Colon can PITCH for his age, big ol' belly or no big ol' belly, LOL. Too many killer steak dinners with ALL the trimmings, 10??? LOL. Alright, I'm done, now it's back to the bedside vigil. ADIOS, METS FANS!!! SEE YA MANANA!!! Or would that be tonight with the time difference?

Mets will definitely have an advantage at home, unless the Royals are tough enough to deal with it... even if the Mets win three straight in NY, they'll still have to fly back to K.C. and play in Kauffman Stadium. :43:

To say I'm a little disappointed is a understatement! I still have a glimmer of hope. The 86 Mets lost the first 2 also... HOW BOUT THE POOR JAMOKE HOLDING THE MURPHY SIGN UPSIDE DOWN LAST NIGHT, DUH!

C'MON DAMMIT, HIT THE BALL GUYS!

And by the same difference in runs in the first two games.
