Minibike & Scooter Meet - 11,12 May

WTH. Was just told that this is on Mother’s Day weekend. I was more than willing to make the 10 hour one way drive over the weekend but have to reconsider. I don’t want to be driving home on Sunday and not spend the day with mama. Sorry Scooter I am only a maybe for now.
I'll wax & detail my car this weekend, if you think it'll help keep the rain at bay

Last year this one was over Mother's day as well. I don't know...a bunch of guys with minibike habits shouldn't be pressing their luck by leaving the one day that we should be making sure mom (or wife) is happy. This event is about 3 hours from me, but I don't dare mess with that particular Sunday.
I did learn my lesson...true story, my wife was 8 months pregnant with the second kid, and I had her accompany me to purchase an amazing example of a 1972 Norton Combat Commando on mother's day. Despite the fact we went to the beach that day. Despite we went out for a really nice seafood lunch on the water, and despite the rest of the day was all around fantastic, she continues to bring up that I took her to pickup another motorcycle on THAT day. No thanks...not going to tempt fate twice.

Day two had a nice turn out. Lot of great vintage and custom bikes. Tell mom you already have plans for next year when you see her tomorrow.
