Motor dies when headlight / flashers on...

Hello if anyone has advice on an ST90 with a new battery and a new rectifier that works for about 15 minutes and then dies when the headlight is turned on and very rapidly dies when the flashers are turned on at the same time as the headlight. When both are turned off everything comes back to normal. In the past the replacement of the rectifier and Battery seem to solve this. I am at wit's end why this problem reoccurs on this motorcycle.

My 90 CC bikes see about 6.8 to 7.3 or so volts of very nearly pure DC at the battery with the engine running at 3000 RPM or so. What does yours show. With a modern silicon rectifier rather than the old inefficient selenium rectifier, I see no more than .03 - .05 volts AC under the same conditions.
