Hey gang , just joined and as well as having an original CT70 , I also have a Icebear Champion 125 clone that I picked up and got some parts to make it closer to a Honda CT .

I already did a 22 mm carb and the solid swing arm bushings . Huge difference!! Also found if my front axle is tight , the shocks lock up and pretty much don’t compress , had to ad couple washers on the Speedo side and not tighten the axle so tight .

This is my 2022 Icebear Champion. It was originally black, so I made a few changes to make it resemble a 1978 CT70.

A few changes !!! LOL Wow , besides the obvious tires / decals / raised front fender , very nice job on the blinkers / speedo - headlight /chain guard / black paint on the muffler shield /tail light / engine cradle / seat / shock boots , but the one that made me go WOW , is that you actually put a drum front brake on it !! Talk about really getting to be a clone !!! What about the ID tag , where did that go , inside the seat area ?? Also, can you show how you did the seat , I LOVE it and would want to do that to mine !!

The seat is fairly easy. The hinge is the same, so the seat bolts directly to it. The frame has holes, where the older style latch can mount. You’ll need to drill a hole in the left side of the frame, for the latch handle. You’ll also need to remove the small threaded bung, under the seat and welded to the shock cross bar. It interferes with the latch movement. It’s not necessary, but I cut off the lock mechanism and related brackets on the outside of the frame.
When I posted a video on my YouTube channel, of the disc brake delete, the comment section went crazy. 🤣🤣

Next mods are a better carb , going to go with the Nibbi 22mm , ( the current one is a cheap 22mm Amazon carb ) . And going to try the rear cush drive like the orig CT70 had . I just feel this bike is still a little " clunky " in the shifting department .
