Need help installing Li-fan 125 into st-90 : i'm a noob

hey guys, long time listener, first time caller...

I have an st-90, I want to install the li-fan 125 engine,
I found this kit on ebay

I want to do the 12v upgrade I've seen yall talking about, but not sure what parts to get...
I am also interested in setting up the push button start...

any way you guys could give me a parts list with links to dr-atv or any other site with said parts?

Just off the top of my head It looks like you need a 12v wiring harness and rectifier module. It comes with a engine harness. This L125 is not electric start so setting up a push button start is not an option here.
dratv.com has these parts, look in their Lifan engine replace Section.
 
Im not familiar with the st90's but im pretty sure the motors do not interchange with the z50/ ct70's. And st90 is not on the seller's list of bikes that this motor will fit. You would have to modify your bike to fit this motor. If it's even possible.
 
Took a quick look but didn't see one at the DR. You should ask the seller what he recommends. Maybe he has a 12V lifan harness source.
 
im going to do the same thing to two st90's this winter. i think the st90 motor is the same dimensions as the ct90 and ct110.
they make an adaptor kit and its sold on dr atv. in the ct90 section i think.
search "hugemoth" he has done it without the kit,(drilling required) to a ct90. should be the same set up. good luck
 
boz, that is for a ct90, and a 140 lifan, is it the same? seems like it would be different...
this one lists st90k2 and st90k1, i'm guessing the green st90 is the k1 and the yellow is the k2?

so then just get a 12v engine harness,
12v battery
12v bulbs (do I need to replace the sockets the bulbs go into?)
12v rectifier module (could someone send me a link for this?)
do I need to get a new muffler for my st90?

The ST90 engine is a three bolt engine mount. The CT90 engine only needs two bolts so plan accordingly.

move been fighting this MIGHTYDAX battle for over a year now, you’re going it ALONE.

Everything supports CT70 TWO HOLE pattern. Us ST “three holes” are better off building up original motors. But if you’re already in the deep end like me I’ll keep ya posted. GOOD LUCK
