Need New Battery For 1970 CT70

Searched the threads for advice on a good battery recommendation. No luck as the threads are like 7 years old and all links aren't valid. Searched TB for one. No luck. Searched Amazon. Lots of hits, but batteries are too big to fit in the compartment. Forgot name of the other internet site that sell vintage CT70 parts. Any suggestions? Thank you

If you have the models made before blinkers were mandated, go to Wallyword, in the game/sports section, there is a sealed 6volt for feeders, ect. that will work. About 10bucks. Works great in my HK1. You'll have to adapt the connectors. Mine needed a small spacer at the bottom(about 1/4in) so the batt strap will work and keep things tight.

It was labeled a little different, but looks the same and the 4.5amp rating is the same. Take a tape measure with you, just to be sure.

That looks like the battery but the seller ''plug it'' is over charging, no pun intended. Well maybe a little. Ha ha. Go directly to Walmart.

If I could sell those for 48bucks, I'd quit my job.lol. Yeah, "plug it" is a good description. Wally probably pays 1 or 2 a piece anyways.

I Also used Walmart online got a 6 volt sealed battery 5-AH. For $20. Got it delivered to the closest store and went and picked it up to avoid shipping fees. Fits in the battery basket. I live in Canada so that was a good price for me. This is the second one I’ve bought there. They list it as an emergency light battery.

Thanks for the advice. I got one the exact size as my old one. I didn't know Walmart was referred to as Wallyworld!
