Neo's Project Dax Lowrider

Oil changes will be a pain in the ass taking those hard-line fittings apart for sure. I have a breather kit with the less fancy fittings. I still loath loosening the hose clamp and removing the line to add the oil, can't sneak oil in the head on a ZS190. Unless the bike is ''known to puke oil'' out of the breather, less is more. My 190 shot oil out of the breather over flow tube during break in. So, I installed a kit from Thailand.

I'm only building a non running bike. Since this is a frame from Japan, it only has 6 digits in the vin, 1969. In California DMV / Insurance, vins have to be 10 digits or higher to register. So you can say this is a desktop full size model building.

ST50-xxxxxx that's the 10 you need. Lots of CT's and ST Dax's on the road in California..

o_O🫣🤬 I would try ST50-000 then the actual three. Anyone else have one here like this one in Ca?
Not that I know of. I had imported mine straight from Japan and have built it up the way Ive been seeing it done on Instagram and Tiktok. More fascinated with the J-Spec style. Not many people are doing these. And I also have a kei truck I plan to match to showcase both at the car events.

Include the "st50" in the vin and you have ten or Eleven digits. Shouldnt be any different than registering a ct70 in Kalifornistan.

His only says ST50XXX. 7 digits, weird.
Definitely weird. Since it's a dax, there is no neck tag, also no vin stamped on the neck. However, there should be a vin stamped in the usual spot above the flywheel.

Maybe it got filled in with thick paint and primer..

Don’t go over any speed bumps or you’ll high-center and wreck it. You’re gonna need a crane to get it into the bed of the kei truck. 😂

I was thinking of these bits.

Ducati style trellis frame look. Never seen them before. They fit the look nicely. Made me think for a minute that they were factory.

Oh those.. yeah I have 3 sets. They're discontinued. But always good to have a spare incase I wanted to change the livery theme. They fill the gap nicely on the 2015 model.

I thought of those for my Dax. But couldn't figure something that would work with the carb in the way. So I did the oil lines and narrow catch can and cooler instead to fill under the neck area more.
