I had a great time and I am looking forward to more riding down there in the future !!! Picture of Ray waiting for me to finish my coffee.
If I had spent all that time and money rebuilding my bike to such a nice standard, I'd consider myself pretty crazy going out riding on dirt trails and getting all the paint chipped from stones and the like . Is it me, or are you guys just crazy
I see your point but what fun would it be to build if it was just sitting around so it doesn’t get a scratch. I’m not so ocd that some road blemish is going to keep me from having fun. I’ve had mine on technical dirt bike trails and mud up to the axels before. I won’t do that again but that’s about it.
We're all different and each to their own but, I just couldn't do it after doing all the graft to make it nice - seems kinda contrary t me !!! I guess if that's what floats ya boat..................
IMO, getting a bike dirty is perfectly okay, but leaving it hung up wet and dirty is a good way to screw it up and cause alot of problems. Leaving them outside in the elements is bad news too.
