New Passport in the house

Just drove home an '83 Passport in excellent condition, 10,000 kms, no rust, wheels, hubs, paint all in almost new condition, came with a brand new (uninstalled) pair of Yokohamas. Leg fairing cracked and a small bit broken off but easily fixed, may eventually replace. Everything works. Needs a quick carb job to get the jets cleaned out and idle fixed but otherwise runs great. If the damned weather would warm up here in Montreal I'd actually be outside doing the work instead of cowering inside!

Pics once I've taken a few.

Cheers

Just purchased an 81 C70 Passport with about 4k miles on it. Very good condition overall. However, it looks like it sat for many years with gas in it. Had to have the gas tank professionally cleaned and coated. Carb was gummed up bad.
So I am in the process of performing a mild restoration. Red and White.

Welcome aboard!

Although the bike differs from the smaller Z50 & CT70, the engine is essentially the same...lotsa shared/interchangeable parts. Thus, running gear issues and solutions are the same as any other 72cc model of the 6V (pre `82-83) era. IOW, you've come to the right place.
