New Throttle lubrication

    Hi can anyone tell me what lubrication is best to use on brand new throttle setup in handlebars of ct70 ko model using all genuine parts?

    I've used white lithium grease, a.k.a. Lubriplate. It's thin, doesn't turn gummy or thicken in cold temps. You might try sourcing it, or an equivalent from a snowmobile dealership.

    FYI The newer throttle pipes have had serious problems with helix quality & placement. Some can go right off the end of the slide...leaving you stuck st WOT. All have burrs, that take time to wear smooth...break-in.
