You could use cl70 lower legs but the cl axle is a smaller diameter so you would have drill them out..not really a big deal…the top of the cl lower leg is made for a boot so getting a k-1 chrome top on might need some trickery but k-3 up would be perfect. Cl70 on bottom of pic.note smaller axle hole ct70k-1 on top
Even k3 up, the longer inner legs would leave slop above the triple...fork ear area, or below the triple tree...spring area. You'd have to shim the springs and stretch the gator. Then the bike will sit high in the front, so you'd need to raise the rear...
Every modification/deviation from stock, requires 2 more modifications to make it work...

yes your right but what I was thinking is use a complete cl setup with all cl components,,,,springs, gators, etc…. maybe I’m not thinking right but I don’t think the upper area above the triple tree would change if using a stock ct triple tree.. with stock rear shocks they would be long but someone with a custom or resto mod that is running taller rear shocks it would level bike out..? I’ll do more measurements later when I get home.

You are probably right about all of that.
But we're still looking for a cure for worn out stock CT70 fork legs.

For the purists...
Clayton has confirmed that the inner legs from the nevc aftermarket front shocks work, as a direct replacement...they slide right in and work, in the stock Honda lower legs. Or, use the complete set...as intended...brand new copies of the stock Honda shocks.
Biggest issue that I see with the nevc set, is the painted lowers.
