this is a little personally funny thing to me. but back when i worked enduro cross races with my trx250 we used to clear trails and tow dead bikes. well that was during the amature section..... in the feilds where part of the track started we would gather before every session (about a few hours a piece)well the kids race went down basically we watched as they rode a fast pace did very good and basically we barely had to clean up burms ect. well the am's would come down and the track got a little messed up a little raking here and there alot of stakes (the feild had boundaries to the track with stakes) and trees messed up. now then we heard the official yell "pro's up next all track workers LEAVE THE TRAIL WHILE YOU CAN IF YOU VALUE YOUR BIKE!" lol.. i was stuck on the thought "if they are called pros then why are they warning me? weeeeellllllll i watched as close to 150 bikes at the same speed as the am's on 450's and 250's (same bikes basically) tore the hell outta everything toppled riders well they made for good traction stakes...???? where? boundaries?????? i thought it was offroad? i never saw so many riders make evrything into a shortcut jump or pile of rubble than these guys, and it was riders from all over (semi national) we had a 170lb guy on an xr 100 that rode with the am class of 250;s and 450's and kept up in this class he would have needed the john deere gator/ ambulance. shouldnt these guys be the ams? lol. if your a pro doesnt that mean you ride without needing to cheat. all these guys were more worried about adding junk to their bikes like computers and high priced gear but yet they didnt care for practice.so whats the point of calling it pro? that was the year my uncle went pro too he was ticked. they took him off the am clas becuase he won too many pole pos. my other unc. meanwhile wanted to trade....he like to hit trees.:35::headhurt:

lol. well the races startd this season and i didnt get to witness it as i was clearing brush i did get a good practice run in with my unc's but when i rode down the road they took...lmao it looked like a dirty townado hit. trees missing bark where they hit the street was just a big meteor crash site. the sweepers went throught and tore the sighns down :( its kinda sad the 1st race is over already. those were some fun and good times. anyone ever needs something new. i know im a little off of my topic but seriously you dont even have to race just volunteering alone to clean up was a great exp....*sigh i miss it. i have a kid now and enough time to give my ct an oil change with about 25 dollars to my name life hit me like a mack to an oncoming cbr at 90mph.....id love to bring my son some day hopefully things get better.i nkow im getting sappy but hey everyone hits this point sometimes.:12::focus:anyone else got any good race day stories?
