questions on tires, racks, shocks, (new member)

Hey guys new to the forum.

75 with 4300ish miles on it. It was my uncles. He quit riding after a crash on another bike 4-5 years past buying this one new, he then passed away and the st90 sat in my grandparents california garage until 2014. I rebuilt the carb, flushed the tank (mostly it seems), new batt, and had it running, put maybe 10-15 miles on it.... then I became a single dad of two and it sat a few years. so I'm doing it again...

So on tires I have had nothing but pain, and wild goose chases trying to find 3.00-14, so I got 2.75-14 (Shinko 244 dual sports) should be good outside a bit of reduced width right?

I'd like to take it out for overnighters to some ghost towns here in nevada and surrounding. I need luggage capability. I know finding st90 racks is neigh on impossible and/or costly. Anyone know of other racks that are modifiable?

The shocks are 1975 originals and I'd like to get something stiffer (6'3" 230lbs). anyone got a line on a good low priced alternative to stock replacements?

The rack from a cb or cl 100 will bolt right on. I put a Dr Atv lift kit suspension on mine and it’s great. About the same size as you. Looking to put street tires on mine.
