Just thought I would share with the group my latest project that I purchased, a 1971 Z50A. It is a pretty complete bike but rode hard and put away wet. As is typical, it sat for many years in somebody's shed/barn and was neglected. I got it home and checked for spark, added a little fuel to the carb and she fired right up. After messaging the carb and a thorough cleaning i got it running and idling just fine. Put a new tube in the front tire and patched the rear and took it for a ride. It shifts well and runs great.

My plans are a complete tear down and restoration to add to my other three CT70s. I'll replace worn parts and restore the others. I'm not a fan of the Mexican Yellow,so I'm changing color to Saphire Blue/White.

Stay tuned, I'll update as I make progress.

    John

You got a nice Z there! It looks complete, and it's not too beat up at all. I'm a big fan of K2s...I like ALL the colors. Yellow K2 was my first Mini Trail, and I still have it. But I think my blue, may be the beautifulest one.
You have a great lookin stack of CTs too!

Nice find - I like the K2 with that long back fender which is usually broken on missing along with the taillight bracket - both are hard to find. You're in good shape given the looks of this one - keep us posted on progress.

Do I detect a 1966 GTO in that garage?
