All the inmates must be in Covid 19 lock-up.

Probably due to this covid crap. My son went through a nightmare with a title for his car he bought last May. Just now got it. In Oklahoma, goes through OKC DMV

Finally just got my XL70 registered, been in the process since June! Such a long story about it I'm not even gonna post it here... But it's registered as linited use here in MA and completely street legal. Just gotta get the mirrors cleaned up and installed and probably clean the carb again.

Two weeks later and I am still waiting for a plate or stickers from Vermont. I did get confirmation that they cashed my check a week ago, so I am assuming it cleared the necessary hurdles. I'll update this thread when/if I get anything from them.

So I finally received everything from Vermont. It's interesting that the plate came hours after my last post on Wednesday, and the paperwork arrived Saturday 10/10/20. Here's the timeline:

    Mailed paperwork: 8/11/2020
    Paperwork arrived in Vermont: 8/17/20
    Check cashed: 9/25/20
    Plates arrived: 10/7/20
    Stickers/registration arrived 10/10/20

So it's almost two months including the time to ship it to Vermont. In any event, now I can start building my CT70! It's just a frame today, so I have a great winter project.

    Thanks everyone for the feedback.

Once upon a time not so long ago, it took about three weeks. I guess the 'Rona virus has really slowed things down.
