Show us the worst

Picture 261.jpgWe all like to show off our restored or that near mint CT70..However,I want to see that dirty little secret thats hidden in the darkest corner of everyones shop or garage. That rusty beat up orphan that hasn't seen a trail or road in years that you want to restore. I admit to owning a KOH that has got to be the nastiest project CT70 I've ever seen...Show what you stared with and make us cry. Heres my pile, trump this.View attachment 11191

I've got you beaten like a rented mule...

Photo124.jpg

1972 SL70, brush painted black (in places easy to get to), broken welds, cobbled swing arm. She's beautiful to me (clear title).

Thanks!

The genuine Honda Z50J1 German model center stand is a rare part over here. Hard to come by and expensive.

If it doesn't need to be original, search the Chinese Dax copies - cheapo.

My '72.

It's coming along.

I heard it pop on a shot of gas before I tore it down but after seeing the inside of the engine it will be getting a replacment. I'm not going for an OEM restoration anyways but I do plan on keeping it OEM looking.
