"Silver-Tag?"

I'm new here. I've read some mention of "silver-tags".....What does that mean? I assume its an early model or something.

Speaking of tags, my bike is missing the vertical ID plate on the steering neck. The rivets are there, but no plate. Does anyone make them? :7:

Go on the CHP (Classic Honda Products) site in Tyle TX. He has them for the CT 70.

Silver tag bikes didn't have holes for drive screws, as they weren't used until the black tags came along.

Thanks Darrel! Found them. Now, what do I do to get them stamped with my frame numbers, etc?

You can take the tag to a trophy shop and have in engraved there. Thats where I had mine made.

Thanks for the info. I understand the silver tags ended with a vin# close to 190_ _ _. Mine will get the black tag...the vin# is CT70-260601
