Someone needs to learn people skills

Don't know if anyone here has dealt with this guy on ebay, He has good parts but certainly lacks in people skills, I just asked if he could combine shipping on 2 small parts, all he had to say is no, That would be fine, was just asking. But He sends me this nasty invoice. They would all fit in a Small priority box.

Under the circumstances, silence (as in not dealing with him again) will speak volumes. I've run across sellers like this...and let a lot of good items pass because I refused to deal with them. A bad attitude doesn't pay, it costs.

Well, some people don't want to be paid in other ways besides paypal. I find, for example, being paid with anything other than paypal or cash to be a PIA. Its impossible for me to get to the bank to start with, so checks and money orders need to clear before parts are sent and I can't get to the bank during the week...and sometimes not even on weekends. Only for large purchases do I want a money order or cashier check, because paypal takes too much.

Onto combining shipping. The reason most people do not combine shipping is for one reason only...they are making money on the shipping. Realistically, it would cost less than half of what he charged you. One thing I can say is that I charge what it costs...and in cases I over charge more than $1, I usually refund it.

Also, he may have already boxed the items. HOWEVER- there is no excuse for that type of communication in the sales/service industry. Just stop buying from him, he will lose money, capitalism at its finest.

Im not sticking up for anyone but,I'm a service tech for a large telecommunications company and I have just got to say this economy has got alot of people with their underwear in a bunch.You did the best thing by pointing them out so we can avoid their problems!

I have done several transactions with Jeff, i have also spoken with him on the phone many times...IMO he is a great guy and very fair.

He started selling parts on ebay and he was putting a shipping price on his parts and actually sending cash refunds for the difference in shipping....people started hitting him up after they received there packages and requesting 50 cent refunds on shipping.

Jeff has given some amazing deals to many people.

I think you may have caught some frustration from his dealings on ebay.

Again Jeff is a stand up guy IMO.

Combined shipping means put all the parts in one box and refund the difference. 50 cents or 50 bucks . . . makes no dif.
He sold me heavily used parts as "new" and combined the parts when he shipped but kept the $ difference. Then he yelled at me in two emails a min. apart telling me made a mistake but he didnt have time to "play games".
He had some nice new parts but now they are gone and he is selling crap and calling people "HIGH" for not buying them.

Mostly what bothers people (several that I have heard from other than Don) about this guy is his attitude and rude emails and listings full of !!!!!!!!!! and ?????????? sometimes he seems normal but mostly he just goes off on people.
He acts like everyone is an idiot and he is doing us all a favor somehow by selling us his parts on EBAY (which he doesnt get at all).
He can keep anything else he finds and wants my hard-earned money for. I predict he will disappear shortly.

I'm seriously shocked to hear this.

My experience was just the opposite with this seller.

I made several purchases (both new and used), all my packages had more than he had promised and every single time the shipping favored me.

I received much more than i paid for by far and shipping was very fast on all occasions.

I was absolutely shocked with a 45 tooth sprocket that he said was in OK condition, when i opened the package it was like brand new.

These are just my experiences with a seller i never purchased from before.

In his early adds he did say he would refund shipping, I noticed his later adds said nothing of combined or refunds.

Ebays a funny place, i see lots of sellers that have parts listed for ridiculous prices...i stay away from those sellers.

If you don't feel warm and fuzzy about a seller don't deal with him, I have certainly been mislead before.

You sound like you have had more than one transaction with this seller.

Could you please post more details of the individual transactions and pics of the junk parts also.

I bought a battery box and a rectifier and some "new" muffler mounts.
They all showed up in one box. no combined shipping and the muffler mounts are pitted and replated.
He admitted that he listed them wrong and then started yelling at me in the email
at which point I told him never mind.

He sent me an apology, And I'll let it go at that, will even leave good feedback. Dude must just be overwhelmed with all those parts and like I said, has no people skills, But all the parts have been nice that I've recieved.

OK perhaps I am a troubled individual,I became that way after reimbursing people 50 cents, 1 dollar, 2 dollars, 40 or 50 times, It just became annoying. I specificly removed the statement, I will reimbuese shipping on all my adds !! You seem like an intellegent individual, I guess it all built up when you, the first, asked for an invoice, I knew exactly where you were going with it !! I am sorry for over reacting, and am sorry, I have had some fun on here and met alot of cool people, no negative feedback as of yet !! Regardless I will leave posotive feedback for you. Jeff

I'm pretty sure he justs hates himself.

He is currently selling a frame on eBay and I asked him if he had the original motor and what the VIN number was.

His response

"Sorry, but for 30.00, I wouldnt even walk out to my shop and look, be real ! I dont mean to be rude, but it seems everyone looking on ebay thinks their going to get a rare gold coin for a nickel in return. JEFF"
