I ordered a seat.
This is what I got
It is not correct.

How can this not be checked prior to shipping?
or even receiving it from your supplier?

Original listing please... I can't pass down judgement with so little information... Don't remember you asking anyone here about a good place to buy one.... BTW new ''complete'' aftermarket seats cost two hundred dollars on fleabay last time I checked. Sound about right?

Well stated above - I would be interested in a good conversation on seats - and vendors - I could some K1 seats of good value - and a conversation on what to look for

My original seat was bent, so I took it off for repair & repaint.
not knowing how long it would take, I purchased a repro seat pan.
Had a new seat & foam ordered, and was sent (2) of them.

So thus, the reasoning not to go with a complete one, or NOS.

And found the clip backwards on this one.

There is a book from the 90's out there on Honda's written by a well known 305 restorer that addresses these very same problems. Parts they were referring to were parts actually offered through Honda. It seems that Honda would get x number of requests for a part and once or twice a year would have them made by a small,by their standards, shop. Comments were made that the quality for what ever reason just was not there. The consensus was better to rework a new part than locating, paying top dollar for an old used part and having to redo it. Thank your lucky stars your looking for something for a Z or a CT which has alot of choices

LOL! Yea the clip is on backwards and would not be something Dratv would sell, looks like more quality parts from Drct70411.

Good! He will make good for it,;) as everyone makes mistakes. Drct70411 will blame you. Tell him about the pan and SEND IT ALL back as the clip is wrong. Wow, that's not like him to sell stuff like that.

Funny thing is,
He sent me pictures of other pans he had, to ask me to compare.
And the clips were wrong on those too.

Thanks all.
On to the next one

Then he will know now they are wrong and stop selling them or at least post it up in the listing that the clip ''is wrong'' before selling any more of them. I would hope you post up if he made good for this or not after all is said and done, for all to see. He never screwed me.

Thanks - I did find a thread on seats in a SEARCH .
Yes on a simple contact with Dr should remedy the issue . Be glad there is a pan available . I would work with them .
