    Yeah, copper washer/nut in wrong spot?

    Bike has me drooling over on house of kolors web site. Man that thing is booootiful.

    Looks like the ol double copper washer seal trick to me.
    Man there are alot of nice bikes out there with the copper washer
    open nut on both the right and left sides of the head studs!

    The guy takes great pictures. Wish all eBay listings were even half as detailed. I saved a bunch of them to help me through my own restoration. The paint is amazing.

    Ther seems to be a few of these for sale lately near me, here's one on CL in Vancouver, right across the river, looks like the same bike or a clone of it!

    exactly. that ridiculous asking that much for these small motorcycles. thats a weed tare for ya though.

    lolz. nothing.. a tare is a parable of a weed or someone or something dumb or inequality. like that shocking high price.

    LOL!! Exactly. Maybe he's just upset he didn't use a shorter nap on his roller to get the same finish of this Blue KO. Makes a BIG difference in selling price............

    Too much ? Looks like he even used a NOS speedometer.You cannot build this bike for 3500.00 unless you cut corners, like maybe painting it with a brush and roller.

    Damn straight. Just total up all the parts he has on it. Even appears he used new hubs. Wow. Anyway the thing is snazzy!!!

    Hands down the best restoration I've ever seen on Ebay. I'm eager to see if it reaches the Reserve and, if so, just how high it sells for.

    My HKO cost $4,200 total for the bike and restoration process. This KO auction is worth every penny it bid up to.

    Good zings! I agree, $3500 doesn't touch what those guys put into those bikes. I think a more apt comparison is what bikes cost nowadays, not what these cost 35 years ago.
