Sustained top speed c70

Hi, I've owned my 1982 c70 deluxe for about 10 years. I worked all the bugs out (except famous electric start) and it really runs strong after getting the float height just right. My question is: Am I damaging anything by running it flat out, top speed for long times? Going downhill, faster than it was meant to go, could over rev something , I would think. Yet they are thought to be "bullet proof".

The only thing you need to watch is oil temperature and only when it's 80-90+ degrees out. Dratv and chp have the dipstick. At 50-60 degrees you could pin it ALL day. I would shut down at 115 Celsius for 10 minutes and ride a little slower to keep the temps down in oppressive outside heat.
