well Kirby say this bike was a pig but my neighbor said it was too small to be a pig and said it was a golden turd :) once I got it home I put a seat on it, it came off my red CT 70

after getting the front wheel installed I rode the red CT over to my friends, he was working on his car and didn't want to hear my smart mouth and said " it's warm out, don't you have something else that you can do to the golden turd " so I went back home and installed the intake and carb

You are going to want a 16 tooth on the 125. 14 will make it a wheelie monster. Hope you didn't cut the new chain yet. The old rear sprocket has finished it's service life. It will wear out a new chain fast if used.
I've no idea which L125 this is. Looks to be an older model, judging by the primary-mounted clutch. It matters, more than you might realize. Since the 110/125 Lifans hit the market, ideal sprocket combos have ranged from 17/33 to 16/35. Going into this blind, I'd start with 16/33 and go from there. It's easier and less money to changeout C/S sprockets. If the gearing is too short, 17t is even better for chain life and will give a little more chain-to-swingarm clearance. If the gearing is too tall, 15t is the lower limit for normal chain life. Source the best quality roller chain you can find. D.I.D. NZ2/NZ3 series is worth the price.

With 55mph power, I'd strongly suggest new brake shoes, a rebuild kit for the K0 pogo stick fork and more stiffly-sprung shocks. The suspension, as shown in the above photos, is dangerous for speeds above 30-35mph on MI roads.

Might want to figure out if that muffler is adequate for this engine. If the outlet is smaller than 25mm it's going to restrict breathing. If it's closer to 15mm, as most Chinese knockoffs are, it will strangle this engine.

All of that having been said, this really looks like a pretty decent base bike...that rare turd that can be polished.;)

Keeping that front wheel on the ground is gonna be a challenge with that light front 'pogo' suspension. I had a Lifan 110 e-start, on my 70' K0 and used a 15T & 35T at first but the front lifted craZy bad, so a 33T was in order. Also realized that life flashing incidents are lessened with better front suspension, of the hydraulic order.

I ended up getting a front forks set-up, with the Disk brake from Trail Buddy. I still have them..never really used em' ...time kinda ran out on that project .You know how that goes.

Fish oil? You mean Wok Oil, LOL. Hey, OP, consider every one of yer posts "Liked!!!" WTF, I'll go back and do it in a moment, I was simply enthralled by "The Tale Of The Golden Turd!!!" BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! :cautious:

Ya know, you could probably make a C-grade Sal Monella martial arts flick starring that bike & using that title, don't forget the no-name actors (like OLD CT) and the bad dubbing, LOL. Remember that hilarious dubbed commercial back in the day with bad no-name Kung Fu actors?

Well, that's just how yer flick should be, aye? I wanna hear voices while no lips are moving, and vice versa... er, you know what I mean. Make OLD CT and "The Golden Turd" the STARS of the show, might just launch their film careers, LOL. ;)

Okay, I'm out, just had to comment upon the wonderful "Tale Of The Golden Turd!!!" Poor ol' bike, it must be a handicap from the start to be painted that ugly-@$$ color, but to be so abused on top of that, well, it defies the imagination.

Maybe you should start a "Go Fund Me" account for the bike, emphasizing the terrible abuse it has suffered (Jerry Springer material), and throw in a shot of OLD CT.... you'll be a f#%ng MILLIONAIRE in no time, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

CHEERS!!! AND GOOD LUCK WITH THE BIKE!!! :yellow70:
