The Three Amigos... Sage, Dixie & Wingnut!!!

Here we have the two youngsters engaging in a multi-level scrap, LOL... Crackhead atop the desk and Jingle Belle in the chair, those KNUCKLEHAIDS!!!

IMG_1068.JPG IMG_1069.JPG IMG_1070.JPG IMG_1071.JPG IMG_1072.JPG IMG_1073.JPG IMG_1074.JPG IMG_1075.JPG IMG_1076.JPG IMG_1066.JPG

I keep those blankets atop my desk just for the kittehs... when I need to use the desk, I simply flip the blankets over to the right or toss 'em on the nearby rack. The kittehs LOVE clawing that desk chair, BIG-TIME, but it's no big deal, I bought the chair at a local thrift shop for $15 and I couldn't care less if the kittehs destroy it, LOL.

Round #4 of pics:

Neighbor round the corner had that white rig parked in his driveway, took a few shots of it for a hand at another website, he's a big Cowboys fan and the truck had that big ol' Cowboys Star on the grille, LOL.

And for the grand finale, a few pics of evening colors in the sky... guess the Canon cam didn't pick up the thin crescent moon, which was killer, but that's okay, there's always next time, LOL.

Well, I'm back to my cold beer and entertainment on the 65" curved screen... it's a $h!tty job, but SOMEBODY has to do it, LOL. Hey, we're all burned out on turkey after consuming that 19-lb. bird, so we're having spiral-cut, honey-cured ham for Thanksgiving, WOOHOO!!! Gonna bake a green bean casserole with mushroom soup and French's Crispy Fried Onions, toss some real butter in there somewhere along the way, AYE??? Probably do another side dish for the heck of it, and slap some pineapple rings atop that ham before it goes in the oven. Y'all be good, hope ya have a GREAT THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY!!! I know I will, LOL... WTF, might as well enjoy life in this mountain paradise known as Show Low, AZ, things could definitely be worse, like trying to mack a good holiday meal while dodging bullets in Compton, North Philly, or the Lower Freakin' Bronx, LOL.

CHEERS, YOUSE KNUCKLEHAIDS!!! ER, I MEAN YOUSE MONKEYBIKING HEE-ROES & CRUSTY MINI DEMONS O' DIRT!!! LOL... :red70:

Your cats on the table reminded me of when I was a teen and we had a cat named "Twirp". He would get on the counter tops and lick the butter and stuff. Made my mother "HACKED".lol. If it wasn't for my stepdad's love for cats, she would have been alot happier.

HaHa, I copy the "HACKED!!!" LOL. Here are a few pics of last night's crescent moon, thing came through a bit better on the Canon cam with the moon a bit thicker, 10-4?

Guess that third sky shot was taken through a glass window... or someone added a couple o' moons to the sky while I wasn't looking, including one moon down in the tree line, LOL. Here are a couple bonus pics o' Sage & Crackhead on the ol' rack:

THE GOLDURNED KNUCKLEHAIDS!!! Y'ALL BE GOOD AND ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAY, I'M OFF TO PAR-TAY AND MACK HARD AS I WATCH THE CHOKERS LOSE (FOR THE THOUSANDTH TIME), LOL!!! BUT FIRST, A FRESH BEER & A BIG OL' BONG HIT O' CHRONIC, WAHOO!!! :geek:

Kittehs say: "#6 Auburn Tigers kicking #1 Alabama Crimson Tide's @$$ in the 4th Quarter?!? WOOHOO!!!"

Meh, the kittehs aren't Tide fans, though I like both teams, LOL... WTF, let the best team win!!! :red70:

Wait, where are the goggles and leather jacket???

My kittehs are watching birds hit the feeders out front, always primetime entertainment for the blasted varmints!!! I recently replaced the slabs in the suet feeders, plus I hung a number of seed bells and seed strips in strategic locations, LOL. Some small birds were going off on the seed bells earlier, I think they were nuthatches, the little guys who go upside down on tree trunks and seed bells and whatnot? Saw a cool ladder-backed woodpecker as well, those birds have trick paint jobs, LOL. Those birds were happy campers with all that fresh bird food in the yard... meh, small cost, large satisfaction, especially for the kittehs, who sit on the window sills or out in the yard and meow at the birdies. Sometimes a bird will swoop down to the ground and narrowly avoid getting bagged by Jingle Belle, who has become quite the little huntress... other times, the birds don't make it, they fall prey to the little black panther. Meh, I put the feeders and seed bells where the birds have the greatest chance of escaping, but how do ya keep a cat from being a cat? Darwinism at its finest, I reckon, with the stupid or inattentive birds getting weeded out, 10-4??? Thankfully, it doesn't happen too often, the worst case-scenario involves moi picking dead birds off my carpet and giving them decent Christian burials, LOL.

If you look close there is a smiley face in the full moon in the upper right of the 3 moon picture!:D :alien: :ROFLMAO: Must be the aliens...

Queensland Heelers!!! Got a couple good ol' country boys from Montana moving onto the property today, dudes look like they're straight outta "Duck Dynasty" and they have two Queensland Heelers, so the kittehs will soon have company outside, LOL. No worries, the kittehs actually showed curiosity about the doggies yesterday, one Heeler is young and the other is an old rescue dawg who moves pretty slowly, due to past abuse from some scumbag. Anyway, these roofers outta Montana pull the MT snowbird routine, one dude will take a room and the other will sleep with the dawgs in the 12' travel trailer we're gonna put on my second driveway... the trailer looks okay too, not a ghetto rig, and we'll probably fence one part of my yard for the doggies. They can run around the entire yard whenever we're outside, but the Dog Catcher does cruise this neighborhood two or three times per week, so the Heelers can't just run free through the 'hood... badge bully might scoop 'em up and toss 'em in the slammer, 10-4? Poor little doggies will be breaking rocks in the hot sun... eventually get paroled and show up sportin' prison tattoos!!!

ALRIGHT, HEROES, TIME TO RUN SOME ERRANDS... OH, YEAH, A FRIEND O' MINE SHOWED UP YESTERDAY TO HELP TAKE DOWN THAT DEAD APPLE TREE IN THE YARD, AND HE BROUGHT A HOLIDAY GIFT IN THE FORM OF A JAR O' SHINE, APPLE-FLAVORED WITH A LARGE CINNAMON STICK. THE SHINE IS DEE-LICIOUS, BUT YA GOTTA SIP IT, OTHERWISE IT'LL LITERALLY TAKE YER BREATH AWAY!!!

And now, a meteorological report from the Tres Gatos Division of NOAA, LOL. Kittehs say:

"Forecast for Show Low and environs: cloudy with a chance o' SHINE!!! Not sunshine, but REAL SHINE made the old-fashioned way, authentic right down to the Ball Mason Jar!!!"

IMG_1146.JPG

IMG_1147.JPG

IMG_1148.JPG

Apple-cinnamon, yum yum, this batch o' shine is mighty tasty... and I say that as a beer man, LOL. Had a good time last night around the campfire in my yard, and we will again, only thing is ya gotta watch the shine around flames, otherwise ya might make the front page of the local rag (above the fold). I can see the headline now in the White Mountain Independent:

"THREE DIE IN SHINE JAR BLAST!!!"

LOL... THE STUFF SHOULD HAVE CLASS 3 FLAMMABLE LIQUID LABELS, 10-4???

Hey, I FINALLY put up those signs I bought months ago, I was gonna wait till after I painted the exterior, but I got tired of the signs kicking around my house. Meh, I can always pull 'em off next spring right before I paint, no big deal. Here are the signs:

The irony is that this neighborhood is virtually crime-free, but why NOT post the signs? It's my property, I'll do whatever I please with it, LOL. Doesn't hurt to let folks know I'm ex-military, as well as being a FULL-ON REDNECK, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

"AND LOVIN' IT!!!" :red70:

WELL, YOUSE FOOLIO... ER, I MEAN HEROES, TIME TO GET CLEANED UP AND HEAD TO TOWN, GOTTA DUMP MONEY INTO THE ATM, THEN HIT THE DEPOT & WALLYWORLD. THE EXTRA $700 PER MONTH FROM "HOUSE GUESTS" WILL CERTAINLY COME IN HANDY, AND THE COMPANY IS GOOD, LOL. ;)

CHEERS, YOUSE KNUCKLEHAIDS!!!

Wait, here's what's left of the apple tree we cut down the other day, it sure left a big hole between other trees... if I thought it would fly, I'd slap a palm tree in the gap, LOL. Check out Crackhead inspecting the wood pile, apple wood kindling for the real firewood seen under the wrought-iron lawn furniture... the stone fire ring just has needles and pine twigs I tossed in to quickly start a fire, one match or touch of a lighter and the piles go up PRONTO, LOL.

OKAY, NOW I'M OFF TO GET CLEANED UP AND HEAD TOWARD TOWN... :yellow70:

Neighbors, hell, Boyz, those are my ROOMMATES!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

Boyz just showed up too after a long day of roofing, time to cut loose and watch the Skins-Cowboys game... plus have a small campfire outside for the heck of it, give those boyz and the Heelers a chance to relax and warm up, AYE??? Dunno about the Cowboys in this game, they lost to the Smell-A Chokers last time... Skins might be kickin' @$$ tonight, we shall see what happens. Bust out the jar o' shine!!! WOOHOO!!!

P.S. JIM NABORS DEAD AT 87... R.I.P., GOMER PYLE, I STILL LUV YA MAN!!! INDY WON'T BE THE SAME WITHOUT YA!!!

Aah, another glorious day in paradise!!! LOL... cloudy here, but no worries, I'm still pricing materials for a couple projects. I'm thinking of fencing off the northeast corner of my property so the Heelers have a dog run, not a difficult project since two sides are already fenced. I also want to build a picnic table for all of us under the tall pines, but a table kit is only $98, so I reckon I'll just buy the kit and save myself the trouble of measuring, cutting, etc., on top of the cost of wood. hardware, etc. If I built it myself from scratch, I'd probably save about $5, LOL. I gotta buy more touch-up paint for the interior of my house, forgot I had used the last of the eggshell enamel... might as well buy some forest green paint for the table kit too, that should look pretty good under the tall pines.

Hey, I received a pleasant surprise yesterday, my electric bill arrived in the mail but I don't owe a red cent, WOOHOO!!! Furthermore, I won't owe anything for several months, which is fine with me, LOL. Ya see, I paid a deposit to the electric company a year ago when I initiated service, and that deposit (plus interest) came back to my account, to the tune of around $180. WTF, I'll take it, makes for a pleasant holiday surprise... beats discovering that my bill just doubled, LOL. Nice to know I won't have to worry about my electric bill this winter, heating comes from the wood stove and gas furnace anyway, so there's enough of the deposit left to pay for two or three additional months of electric service. WOOHOO!!! WINNER!!! Like winning a small jackpot, even though I paid the money last year, LOL. :geek:

That bike belongs to one of the MT hands, not only did he flatten the rear tire, he wore the knobbies down to nubs, LOL. Time for some new rubber, no doubt. The trailer looks better now that a "redneck pallet porch" has been added, I'll have to snap a pic or two later for my pal OLD CT, LOL.

CHEERS, YOUSE KNUCKLEHAIDS... ER, I MEAN YOUSE MONKEYBIKING HEE-ROES & CRUSTY MINI DEMONS O' DIRT!!!

I'M OFF TO SEE THE WIZARD!!! WELL, WTF, I'LL SETTLE FOR A GOOD-LOOKING GAL CASHIER AT THE DEPOT OR WALLYWORLD... o_O

And now a meteorological report from the Tres Gatos Division of NOAA!!! Kittehs say:

"FORECAST FOR SHOW LOW: CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF BEER, COLLEGE FOOTBALL & AC/DC SLIPPERS!!!"

IMG_1231.JPG

LOL... get 'em at WallyWorld for $10, they are nicely padded for winter and quite comfortable. CHEERS!!! :red70:

Hmm, looks like the pics didn't come through, gotta remember to use thumbnails... I'm watching the Auburn-Georgia game and surfing channels during ads, LOL. Finished painting my picnic table, gotta paint five minutes' worth of interior touch-up, otherwise I'm making a big ol' pot of DEE-LICIOUS bean soup, a ham bone simmering away in there as I key this post, aye? Later, after I fish out the ham bone, I dump in a truckload of ham chunks, fresh onion, celery, baby carrots, more sea salt & ground black peppercorn, and a bit more brown sugar for flavor, WOOHOO!!! Check these pics, maybe they'll come through as thumbnails...

IMG_1243.JPG IMG_1244.JPG IMG_1245.JPG IMG_1239.JPG IMG_1241.JPG IMG_1242.JPG IMG_1247.JPG IMG_1240.JPG

I'll probably buy more enamel and put mondo coats on the tabletop & benches, one quart barely covered the entire assembly, LOL. I like the green color, it'll look good under the tall pines. I'll be sure to snap some pics of the pot o' finished soup, along with the Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits to go with the soup, aye? PFFFFFFT... Cheddar Bay, sounds like some ghetto pimp marina, LOL. Half the boats are sunk in their slips due to stray bullets, the other half have been tagged by gangstas, don'tcha know??? Hmm, can't really see the pink flamingo sportin' a Santa cap in that last shot, next time I see that neighbor I'll ask if I can take a close-up, the flamingo adds just the right redneck touch to the home front.
